Grizzeldas
Situated in what was once considered “far east Austin”, Grizzeldas is fine dining tex-mex inspired restaurant that applies the owner’s farm to table aesthetic to one of Austin’s most treasured cuisines. The existing building was a modest stone and wood framed building with failing plumbing and outdated electrical systems. The design utilizes a modest and hard exterior to accentuate the luxurious, almost geode like interior. The patio is protected from the harsh late afternoon Texas sun with a CMU wall painted brightly.
